Teresa Bauer

Senior Vice President

Teresa is a principal and senior vice president with CDS. She joined CDS in 1997 and has over 25 years of experience in benefits administration. She holds a degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation, Teresa practiced in a provider's office before transitioning to benefits administration for a national Health Plan. Teresa joined CDS initially to supervise the medical claims team servicing national health and welfare plans. Over her 25 years with CDS, she has expanded her team and responsibilities to leverage her considerable knowledge and experience.

Julie Prata

Senior Vice President

Julie is a principal and Senior Vice President with CDS; she joined our team shortly after graduation from Clarion University in 2002. Ms. Prata started her role with us in member service, growing into account management and ultimately department leadership during her 15 year tenure. During this time, Julie expanded her knowledge and department to manage our largest national accounts. Ms. Prata oversees the implementation, system development; rules based plan testing, data conversion, eligibility administration, customer service and RDS plan administration.

Elizabeth Queen

President

The President of CDS, Elizabeth Queen, has twenty-five years' experience in health care and benefit administration. Ms. Queen is an owner of the firm. Ms. Queen graduated from the University of Richmond with a bachelor's degree in Leadership Studies. She started her career with a private research firm, The Advisory Board Company, focusing on best practices research for hospitals and health systems. After ten years in member services and client retention, Ms. Queen left the Advisory Board to join CDS. Ms. Queen has spent the last nineteen years devoted to growing CDS into an exceptional service organization with highly trained professional staff supported by cutting edge technology.

Jeff Queen

CEO

Mr. Queen is a shareholder and principal with CDS. Mr. Queen holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining CDS full-time in 2012, Mr. Queen ran a national consulting practice in Washington DC. He has also spoken nationally on topics related to the healthcare industry and employee benefits. Mr. Queen is Chief Executive Officer of CDS responsible for overall firm performance, including strategic planning, marketing and business development, budgeting and operations.

Carrie Swain

Vice President

Carrie is a principal and vice president with CDS. Carrie joined CDS in 2005 following a career with customer service and pharmacy benefit management. In her 19 years with CDS, Carrie has managed our retiree VEBA business growth to include over 40 retiree VEBA accounts. Carrie manages the retiree welfare practice, overseeing plan compliance, retiree service and Medicare Advantage Plan implementations.
