About CDS Employee Benefit Administration
Pittsburgh's TPA, CDS, was founded in 1979 by Mr. Kenyon Milligan. From our initial beginning as the in-house administrator for a single client, CDS has grown to be the largest locally-owned and operated employee benefit services firm in the greater Pittsburgh area. Today we offer full-service, third-party administration
services to over 50 clients representing 75 benefit funds that have over $3.3 billion in plan assets. From our two full-service offices in Pittsburgh, our team serves over 250,000 participants in 30+ states. Our clients range in size from 100 to over 40,000 participants.
Prior to his passing in 2009, Mr. Milligan successfully transitioned CDS to the second generation owners of this family business. Over the past five years, CDS has continued to experience steady growth and has strong financial stability with no debt and an excellent credit rating. Our current owners are fully committed to continuing to independently own and manage the firm and ensuring that our team continues the legacy that began over 30 years ago.
